Sessions for officers of the Ontario Public Service are being organised by the Management Board Secretariat 13:30-16:30 on Monday and Tuesday, 7 and 8 June. The broad theme is Challenges to Personal Information Management arising from eGovernment Business Models and Technology Trends.
Roger Clarke's role in relation to each topic is to:
Roger Clarke is an experienced consultant, whose primary expertise is in strategic and policy aspects of eBusiness, information infrastructure, and dataveillance and privacy.
Within the broad eBusiness arena, his areas of specialisation include:
He is a frequent contributor to conferences and seminars throughout Australia and overseas, usually focussing on topics and perspectives that conventional presenters overlook or wilfully ignore.
He holds Commerce degrees from U.N.S.W. and a doctorate from the A.N.U. He spent a decade as a senior academic, has ongoing associations with universities and conferences in Australia, Europe, Asia and Canada, and is currently a Visiting Professor at U.N.S.W. (in Cyberspace Policy) and the University of Hong Kong (in eCommerce), and a Visiting Fellow at the A.N.U. (in Computer Science).
He is an experienced Director of private companies, is Chair of a Ministerial company operating in the dot.gov space, and is on the Boards of several incorporated associations.
He maintains a substantial resources site, which attracts over 2.5 million hits p.a. It includes the world's most authoritative web-pages on 'Waltzing Matilda'.
